Q: Do I need to have a Master's degree to apply?
A: Applicants should have a master degree and/or a 4+ year undergraduate degree.
Q: Can I be employed and enrolled in the INDP at the same time?
A: The FCT regulations require exclusive dedication for the duration of the fellowship which is not compatible with having a paid work activity.
Q: Will the fellowship cover health insurance?
As a resident in Portugal, students will be beneficiary of national health care (law decree 48/90 of 24th August). Additionally they may have access to private health insurance available to Foundation Members at special rate. The Admin team will assist you in registering at the Social Security System and, if requested, the private health insurance.
Q: What is the official language of the Programme?
A: English is the official language of the Programme and a good command of it is required (written and spoken) for students joining the INDP.
